Did this card for my dearest friend Latha who is moreover like a sister to me.Last night I was wondering what to give her as today is her last day at office.And then I took my quilled strips and card... worked on it for 45 minutes and this is what it looked like.I 'll Miss her a lot .

A spiritual tour to Kukke Subramanya temple

Clicked this picture at Kukke Subramanya temple at around 7 am .Its a Hindu temple located in the village of Subramanya in the Sullia taluk of Dakshina Kannada District near Mangalore, Karnataka, India. The temple is one of the pristine pilgrimage locations in India. Here Lord Subrahmanya is worshipped as the lord of all serpents.





At the entrance of the temple you can find huge royal wooden chariots or the temple car .These temple cars are chariots used to carry representations of Hindu gods. The car is usually used on festival days.Even though i didn't click a full view image of these royal chariots.I have taken these pics were actually I couldn't tear my gaze away on these beautiful intricate designs done in the wooden royal chariots.





Finally after the temple visit it was the time for the so called "window shopping" ☺ ☺ where these rangoli designs totally captivated me and my mom that we finally ended up buying some of these rangoli templates. ☺ ☺ ☺

A piece of sweet bliss

A birthday as it comes along brings a lot of yesterdays sweet memories and a lot of hope hope for bright tommorows. And yes one would definitely like to have a sweet piece of cake to start with . :)

Pepper !! Pepper!!

Pepper !! Pepper....Yes these are garden fresh pepper from my home town farm at Kasaragod which my dad has planted years back with lots of love.My dad is very much interested in farming and he has always put his heart and soul  to bring up this farm.I couldn't resist my self to take this photograph of this little twig of pepper and a basket full of freshly harvested pepper.These pepper are dried in direct sunlight and once its dried and black completely , it can  be straight away used for your daily needs.I consider myself  to be lucky to have these garden fresh pepper :).
