Thankful old man!!!

Took this shot when I was on my way  from Coimbatore to Munnar..My husband just got out from the car to get some eatables and I saw this sannyasi heading towards our car.He was wearing a saffron dhoti and kurta...with lot of rudraksh beads and yes!! a thick kumkum on his forehead was the highlight.I know he was begging  but for his age and the humbleness in his face ,I was pleased and wasted no time to give him some money.And immediately I just took my camera and clicked this shot.He was continuously thanking me and was giving the same gesture as you can see in  the picture .It really elated me .

 This is a customized bday card made for my friend which he wanted to gift to his best friend hmmm......kinda  some one special.!!!!Now the gist is that I was totally confused with the idea of making this card.but later came up with this idea where a boy holding his best buddies hand .Then a "Good friend " label at the top and then to give a touch of "Something special" I placed a quilled rose on his other hand ;) :)

So finally looks like " Best buddy ..Some one special" card ....doesn't it ?? :) :) :)

Celebarting Oneness!!!....A quilled love card :)

Yet another love card done for one of my friend .I had no idea How to begin with..but this is what it came out like after few hours of painstaking work ! :)

Some times in your daily mundane life ,or in the midst of some worrying thoughts you get something  totally unexpected but yet so beautiful from some one.And that is a gentle warmth of an  immense 'THANK YOU'

Yes !! this might be a resultant of something really favorable that you have done to some one or may be an aftermath of a great help extended to some one who was in a  real torment of his /her life or a small material help that has brought oodles of happiness in their present life. It can be anything.But when you get that "Immense thank you " from that some one with their gleeful smile and reverence.. out of the blue ..trust me u have a cheek to cheek smile on your face be it be whatever situation you are in .
 So always never forget to say thanks and that to A big "immense Thank you" to some one who was benevolent to help you and if in case you forget to say it at the first place ...its OK!!! but make sure that you say it some or the  other day which would definitely trigger blessedness in them. :)

My Vishu day ...a new year bliss

Crrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrinnnng!!! my alarm rang!!! And I screamed...Holy shit!!!!! 6 20 is my train..
.All I know that I have to reach the railway station in next 20 mins or else ill end up my nxt day Vishu celebration at CBE which was totally not acceptable !!!

 I reached the railway station in lightening fast speed and then in a total "Jab v met" style boarded the train !!PHEW!!! All thanks to Ashu :) and in next 6 hours I reached my home sweet home.My stomach was growling out of hunger and when I got those divine smell of chakka appam or mulka( a sweet small dumplings made of jackfruit,rice and jaggery deep fried) 

I wasted no time to make my way straight  to the kitchen.When I took my first bite of those little bits of heaven, it had me singing! .... They were yummy & there were never any left no matter how many were made.This was followed with a whole lot of mom's special delicacies which I kept hogging the whole Vishu day.So let me now take you guys through some of my frisky shots of my vishu day.

The early morning   VISHU KANI (at around 4 30 am) was totally divine ...to start off a new year.....

The blooming beauty Kanni Konna Flower..this flower is mandatory for a Vishu kani.....
